NecropOD&D: A Necropolis28 OD&D hack
A downloadable Undead OD&D hack
NecropOD&D is a 20 page set of rules making significant changes to Original Dungeons & Dragons, drawing primary inspiration from the skirmish miniatures game Necropolis28, as well as The Arduin Grimoires and early Gamma World.
It allows players to take on the role of THE AMALGMATED, wretched undead beings that vacillate between the three schools of magic used in the miniatures game - BONE, BLOOD & PLASM. Character advancement is limited. Included are many new weapon stats with hit/miss values, and 56 undead mutations known as GIFTS. These include the invocation of three mighty beings.
This is the CREMATORY ASHCAN EDITION and by no means should be considered anything but one of those things on itch. Do what you will with it.
The project is mostly feature complete, though you will need knowledge of old-school TTRPGs to use it really. It is missing mechanics for one gift (Spinal Emancipation) due to writer's block. I also originally intended to include Claim-Jumping In Feculence, the introductory adventure that I ran it with, but this will need to be released separately as time constraints meant it was holding release of the main booklet back.
These rules have only been used once, with an 8 player table. It was a lot of fun.
Grab it, play it, let me know if you liked it. Integrate it with your Necropolis28 miniatures play!

Hell yeah! What a great project. Love to see when the indie rpg space and the indie wargame/skirmish space interact and birth new things
